Affiliation and access
Affiliated with Stripe? No — FeeGuard is independent; "Stripe" and "Stripe Connect" are trademarks of Stripe, Inc., referenced descriptively. What access do you need? Five read scopes via a restricted key you create and revoke; write scopes only for opt-in automation. Do you store my key? Encrypted with AES-256-GCM under per-tenant derivation; plaintext exists only transiently in memory.
Trying and scoping
Without signing up? Yes — the paste scanner and demo. Direct charges? Vectors differ; liability sits with sellers, and the docs explain what that changes. Subscription proration errors? Outside the four shipped detectors — stated plainly rather than implied. Currencies? Minor-unit handling explicit, zero- and three-decimal families included.
Platform capabilities
Public API? Not yet — roadmap item without promised dates. Multiple Stripe platform accounts? Enterprise configuration. Speed of detection? Event-driven within seconds, plus the five-second race window by design. Can it move money secretly? Structurally no — automation ships off, gates apply, everything lands in the audit trail.
