We clawed back, then the dispute was won

Reversing after a lost dispute, then winning it on representation: funds return through the dispute flow, and your reconciliation needs to close the loop without leaving phantom residue on either side.

What returns, and what does not

The disputed amount returns through the network flow. The dispute fee does not — it stays spent regardless of outcome. Verify the balance transactions rather than assuming symmetry.

Restoring the seller

If you clawed back from the seller and then won, restore what their transfer owed per your notice commitment — netting the returned dispute funds against the restoration keeps both ledgers honest without double-moving dollars.

Closing the loop

Mark the original finding resolved with references to both the clawback and the restoration; close the watch-list entry. Unreconciled wins are exactly how phantom findings are born — the queue remembers what the ledger confirms.
